Lao PDR is one of the countries worse affected by the legacy of cluster munitions. More cluster munitions were used in Lao PDR than in any other country in the world. With Norwegian support, the Norwegian People's Aid is involved in land clearance of cluster munitions, and provides training of Lao mine and bomb clearers. The Norwegian Embassy in Hanoi attended the opening of a new cluster munitions clearance program in Sekong province. Read more
