On 26 May 2010, STX Vietnam Offshore handed over the first made-in-Vietnam offshore-vessel named ”Skandi Emerald".

On 7 December, an EFTA delegation, headed by Norwegian State Secretary of Trade and Industry, Halvard Ingebrigtsen, met with the Vietnamese Deputy-Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr Nguyen Cam Tu. Representatives of Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and the EFTA Secretariat were all part of the EFTA Exploratory Mission and the Mission discussed possible Free Trade negotiations with their Vietnamese...
