Norway opened in August 2009 an honorary consulate in Vientiane, and applicants from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic can now submit short stay visa applications and residence permit applications here. A short stay visa to Norway will give you the possibility to stay in Norway for a maximum of 90 days. The short stay visa for Norway is also valid for the countries that are part of the Schengen Area.
