22/05/2008 :: For the last two years the Vietnamese authorities have intensified their work on women’s rights. One example is the preparation of a Law on Gender Equality (2007) and a Law on Domestic Violence. Both will apply from July 1st 2008. Furthermore, there have been preparations for a national action plan against human trafficking. The present challenge is therefore the implementation of these new laws. + More
